You will need:
What to do:
Place the cardboard over the drinking glass which you have filled to the brim with water.
Make sure no air bubbles enter the glass as you hold the cardboard against it.
Then turn the glass upside down over a sink or basin. Take away the hand holding the cardboard.
What happens:
The cardboard stays in place- and the water stays in the glass.
Why:
The pressure of the air outside the glass is greater than the pressure of the water inside. It is the air pressure that keeps the water in the glass.

We had a rainbow themed lunch. She was able to find all of the colors i named. Except yellow, because bananas are more of a white.
We made animal cracker arks for stART.
We all played with Connor’s Noah’s Ark toy.
She enjoys her new Barbie magna doodle so much! She plays with it on and off all day, everyday!
We went to our local children’s museum and checked out the new Lego Castle exhibit!

Brianna colored shape worksheet from our 3,2,1, learn book and then found the smallest shape from each set.
She stamped with this cute set of stamps from the dollar section at Target.
She played with Connor’s big blocks.
And we did a science experiment that i will be posting about next week.
Brianna’s favorite book to read this past week was Bunny’s Noisy Book, by Margaret Wise Brown. I love this adorable book!

We made animal cracker arks for stART.
And made a Noah’s Ark wheel from our Bible Crafts book.
He worked on Noah’s Ark sequencing cards from DLTK. He did well with this.
He found the matching animals.
We did a science experiment called Why No Flood? I will be posting about this experiment next week, so stay posted for all the details! It was a good one :)
And he played with this Noah’s ark toy. I didnt know Buzz Lightyear was part of Noah’s family did you?

This R is from his 3,2,1 book.
We visited our local children’s museum and checked out the new Lego Castle exhibit.

We made shapes from popsicle sticks. I saw this idea here.
He built towers with his big blocks,
so he could knock them down of course :)
He played with a Goodnight Moon puzzle i found at Goodwill.
And he worked on some pages in his Learn Everyday Preschool book.
Connor’s favorite book to read this week was I Wish That I Had Duck Feet! By Leo LeSieg. (A Dr. Seuss book)

This week we read Noah’s Ark: Words from the book of Genesis. Illustrated by Jane Ray.

And we made simple animal cracker arks.
I printed and cut out this ark template and let the kids color it.
I then cut it out and they glued it to construction paper. Then they glued on animal crackers, with liquid glue.
