Connor’s Schooling: December 2011

Can you believe we are already in 2012?! I can’t. 2011 flew right by. Goodness.

Anyway, here’s some of what Connor did for December:

Language Arts:

He learned that every sentence begins with a capital letter. And he learned about periods and question marks. And that if there is a question mark, your voice should go up at the end of the sentence-

He learned his last cursive letter,Qq, so now he is focusing more in writing words-

Easy reading (blends, 3 letter words)-

Spelling 3 letter words-

He started to learn how to write his name in cursive!

Math:

He can count to 100! 

And make members of the number families up to 80!

Also worked on simple addition and reviewed other things-  

Continuing clock/time-

Counting by tens up to 100-

  Social Studies:

He learned about England- 

Science:

Continuing God’s plan for plants:

He examined real seeds-
