Ugh, I have been dying to get back into my mommy/son dates! It has been way too long. I'm happy to say I finally took Connor on a date. Where to? Friendly’s! Yum :)
He enjoyed coloring on the back of his menu. And then here we are with our food-
He ordered the macaroni and cheese/hot dog kids meal with strawberry milk and i ordered the tuna salad sandwich with fries. (I am so hungry right now writing this post…..)
We talked about school and his toys most of the time, lol. But those are the things that are important to my little man :)
We were at Friendly’s so of course we HAD TO order ice cream!
I ordered my favorite peanut butter cup sundae (with a little extra peanut butter sauce). And Connor ordered the kids monster sundae-

My hubby is excited to take Brianna on her first date! I will of course post about it and start a new category called ‘Daddy/Daughter Dates’. So stay tuned my bloggy friends ;)

ReplyDeleteI've been trying to do similar things with Matthew now that we are expecting a new baby. We've always done things together, but I'm being more purposeful about it now. Simple things like walks in parks and going to Dairy Queen. We both love it and they are the highlights of our weeks!
