Here is what Connor has been learning…

Language Arts:

He learned what the long sound of the vowels are. And that if there are two vowels in a word the first one says its long sound and we don't hear the second one.

He learned lots of special sounds! 

He moved up from his ‘I Learn To Read’ to his ‘I Do Read’ books-

 

More writing in cursive and learning capital letters-  

Math:

He learned half and whole-

More practice writing up to 100-

Addition facts up to the 6 family, more counting by 10’s, first-tenth and number words-  

He started to learn about nickels and to count by 5’s-   

Social Studies:

He learned about Italy-

Science:

He’s learning about animals-

Baby Animals:

He matched the mommy to the baby-
