And now,onto w*i*n*t*e*r…
Drive around looking at Christmas lights IN our pajamas, WHILE listening to Christmas music AND drinking hot cocoa(this was hubbies idea.. .love him)
Give a secret gift to someone(We gave our pastor and his family a $50 gift card to a grocery store but it didn't quite work out to be a secret. More of a surprise gift haha.)
Eat snowflakes as they fall Enjoy the simple pleasure of warm homemade soup
Read a Christmas book by the Christmas tree(I did read this book TO them, just had to take a pic first, haha)
Go see a live nativity(we thought this would be an actual live nativity, but it was robotic, haha. Still neat though.)
I've already written a Spring bucket list and will post it in a few days!

Here is what Connor has been learning…
He learned what the long sound of the vowels are. And that if there are two vowels in a word the first one says its long sound and we don't hear the second one.
He learned lots of special sounds!
He moved up from his ‘I Learn To Read’ to his ‘I Do Read’ books-
More writing in cursive and learning capital letters-
He learned half and whole-
More practice writing up to 100-
Addition facts up to the 6 family, more counting by 10’s, first-tenth and number words-
He started to learn about nickels and to count by 5’s-
He learned about Italy-
He’s learning about animals-
He matched the mommy to the baby-
(I printed this out last year and cannot find the link, so sorry!)
There’s the summary of last month. He’s onto learning more fun things. And getting ready to take a trip to visit his cousins in MD!

Hey there folks! How are you? This post is almost a week late because we’ve been getting a new kitchen! Woot! There will be a post so you can see the before and afters but we still have some stuff to do so not yet! And don't worry, i didn't forget my promise to post about Connor’s new room either, almost done there!
Here’s Brianna’s post though ;)
We made a list of different ways she can show kindness.
We played King, King, Where’s Your Crown? (the same as doggie doggie where’s your bone but with a little cloth crown)
Create a kite- (hmm i thought i took a pic of this but i guess not. Just a construction shape diamond that she decorated with stickers and we hung ribbon on the bottom.)
Find the kings-
Kicking balls (at soccer!)-
Because we were at my moms for a few days we missed out on a couple activities i had planned. Such as find the hidden stuffed kitten and making fruit kabobs.
Performing 3 sets of exercises-
We sang 3 Little Ducks-
Dog/spot activity (with a dot marker)-
Have a blessed day!
